Who loves FALL trees?! We do not get to see them often living in Florida, so we decided to make our own! This Q-tip painted fall tree is the perfect fall activity for toddlers and adults!
Q-Tip Fall Leaf Tree Painting
To begin, take a handful of Q-tips and bundle them up with your rubber band! Although we love paintbrushes it is fun to try out different techniques to paint and the Q- Tips will be used to make the leaves on your tree. Next, open your classic colors washable paint and put some paint on your plate! We used red, yellow, orange and green.
I applied the paint on the Q-tips so it was just enough paint but not too much! I was able to teach Aliza the difference between the trunk of the tree verses the branches! She was then able to stamp her leaves onto the branches!
This is a great fall activity for toddlers. It is simple and easy for them to complete. It turns out beautifully and gives them a sense of accomplishment!
Her tree came out so lovely and vibrant ! Here is her finished project!
